How many of us, at one time or another, have wished to be the Doctor? We dream of the wonder of being able to travel the universe, to explore, to see everything. I think we like to forget that he has had more than his fair share of problems. He survived a horribly dreadful war, he lost his home and all his family, and wherever he goes, trouble, deadly trouble, manages to find him. But somehow, through all that, through all the anguish and pain and danger and failure, he manages to stay cheerful.
It wouldn’t hurt if we could all be a little more like the Doctor.
